Hello World!
I'm Kaan, a master
student at
EPFL SysCom.
Kaan Okumus, 2019
I am a PhD student in Communication Systems research group at Chalmers University of Technology, Department of Electrical Engineering, supervised by Prof. Dr. Giuseppe Durisi and Prof. Dr. Erik G. Ström. I received my MSc in Communication Systems from EPFL and my BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from METU, and I have gained industrial internship experiences in both Switzerland and Türkiye.
My research focuses on wireless communications and information theory, with particular interest in massive random access systems, and their applications to distributed MIMO, federated learning, and multi-target localization.
